The Beautiful Mess of Becoming

The Beautiful Mess of Becoming

Let’s be honest.

Growth doesn’t feel like growth when you’re in it.
It feels like exhaustion, confusion, fear, and sometimes… failure.

But that doesn’t mean you’re lost.
It means you’re becoming.

That's an incredibly powerful reframe and realisation.

One that has transformed my perspective on GROWTH.

Over the years, I’ve worked with founders, CEOs, creatives, and high achievers who were stuck in this exact place, as I was — what I call "the empty train station".

They’d say things like:

“I should have it all figured out by now.”
“Why do I feel like I’m going backwards?”
“Everyone else seems to be smashing it.”

Here’s what I always tell them:

You don’t build strength by feeling powerful.
You build it by showing up when you feel powerless.

And that messy phase?
It’s not a mistake. It’s the path.

You've done it before many times.

When you learned to walk, talk and many other times in your life.

And you'll do it again and again.

The beauty is in starting that journey.

With a beginners mind.

Without expectation and without judgement.

💥 Learning makes you feel stupid before it makes you wise.
❄️ Ice baths make you feel weak before they make you powerful.
🪞 Coaching cracks you open before it helps you feel whole again.

This isn’t about pushing through blindly. It’s about orienting with purpose — even when you feel wobbly.

The discomfort is the signal.
You’re not broken. You’re being remade.

So if you’re in the thick of it right now, here’s your reminder:

👉 You’re not behind.
👉 You’re not failing.
👉 You’re in the middle of becoming.

And becoming is beautifully, powerfully messy.

Reflection:

What part of you is breaking open right now — and what might be waiting to grow through it?
